Did you now that Cable Car construction was officially started today in Druskininkai. The route will connect Aqua Park and Snow Arena (which are both located within a short walk from Domi Lini). It will be roughly 1km long and the trip will take 4-5 minutes.
From the hight of 45 metres it will also serve as a great place for panoramic views of Druskininkai. It is estimated that it will start to operate in spring 2015! This eco-friendly transport solution would reduce CO2 emissions in Druskininkai by 1433 tons in coming 25 years.
